Sunburn

As the cooler weather sets in, you may not have a sunburn, but you can still drink one.

1 oz.  Reposado Tequila

1/2 oz.  Cointreau

Cranberry Juice

Sugar the rimof a highball glass and fill with ice. Add the tequila, Cointreau and cranberry juice; stir gently. Garnish with an orange slice.

Recipe of the Month

Carrots with Tequila
Ingredients

1 lb. Carrots

1/4  Cup Butter

1/4 tsp Dried dill weed -- crushed

1/4 Cup Aņejo Tequila

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions

Clean and peel carrots; cut into 1/4 inch diagonal slices. Melt butter over low heat. Add carrots; increase heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes, or until carrots are tender, stirring occasionally. Add spices to taste. Increase heat to high; pour tequila over carrots and ignite using a long match. When flames have died down, stir and serve immediately.
