TJ staffs the tavern only with other tequila aficionados. He closes the tavern once a month to hold his popular “Crew Review”. During the Crew Review, the crew samples some of the new tequilas, experiments with new recipes, and generally maintains and enhances their knowledge of Everything Tequila.
Some of the people who are likely to be around are:

Born Thaddeus Alfred Jones, TJ formally changed his name after discovering the golden nectar of the agave. But with a name like Tequila Jones, what's a person to do for a living? TJ tried numerous activities before settling on running a tavern. Once his path was set, is was not long before TJ had the BAR-T open for business. Running the BAR-T gives TJ the time and the opportunity to pursue his passion: Locating new and unusual tequilas and exploring new ways to enjoy them.

BB hails from Jamaica. She tends the bar, runs the kitchen and keeps the rest of the crew in line. BB is a grudging connoisseur; while she does not enjoy her tequila straight, she makes a mean margarita and is a whiz at finding new ways to use it for cooking.

Mo joined the crew as a hostess while working her way through college. After graduating with her Masters in Marketing Communications, she decided to stay on for the monthly Crew Review. Mo is now the brains behind TJ’s special events and activities.

KT helped open the tavern as the head waitress. She now tends the bar with BB and works on new drink recipes. KT’s claim to fame is her speed in serving up shots. Add her bottle handling skills and watching KT work the bar is like watching a command performance.

Yes, that is “Bart the Bouncer” at the BAR-T. Here at TJ’s we cannot discriminate against someone because his name bears some resemblance to the tavern’s name. Throwing his 260 beefy pounds around makes Bart the perfect choice for maintaining order on any given Saturday night. Dress him up in a tuxedo and he is a star waiting to be discovered. On a slow night, Bart will carry on “ad nauseum” about when and how he is heading off to be discovered. Yet somehow his plans always adjust for the upcoming Crew Review...

As the crew likes to say: “Trust TJ to name his dog Tequila Bones.” Bones is a retired Search and Rescue dog. While he doesn’t get to hang out, at the BAR-T, with the rest of the crew, he does get to go on the road trips. TJ likes to say that Bones can locate a good tequila from a mile away. Unfortunately, when put to the test, Bones’ range only proved to be about 1/4 to 1/2 mile.
